If I dream you’re here
And you dream I’m there
We’ll be no where near
You should just come here
If I wake you up
Only difference is
You can live the dream
Just believe in it
Shes been hurt too many times
Heard too many lies
Life’s been a bitch
She pays love no mind
I’m wasting my time
She thinks I’m telling her lies
She comes off like a bitch
But she stays on my mind
They’ve been hurt too many times
Sat through too many lies
Tired of seeing that bitch
Negativity outweighing the positive of their minds
There is no such thing as progression
Life is complicated
There’s always so much going on
Sometimes we get strained from the stress which makes it difficult to move on
We constantly run into barriers
Whether it’s our personal status and character
Or even in the difficulty in finding someone to marry us
The pain from the past undoubtedly lingers like a sour stench in life’s living room, sometimes
We can’t find the air freshener that allows our lungs to complete the next breath we wish to consume
We can’t move on because we are dazed in the confusion of life’s stages
We can’t move on because we are stuck in the past of life’s previous pages
A wise man once said, “Once a book is read, put that book to rest.”
But half of the time we find it hard understanding what we previously read
So instead of looking ahead, we continue to study something that should be dead
There is no solution to fixing the death of a relationship
We cannot resurrect the dead so when something dies we have to find a grave place for it
We have to learn to turn the page that completes the book which is now done
So we can finally look at our mistakes in the rearview and learn from where we’ve once come
We have to learn to forgive but to never forget
So that we take a positive outlook on the next book we choose to assess
Each one of our stories was previously written by someone glorious
And as long as we learn from our past we will all reach the great things God has in store for us
